This fall, iauquier Hospital is again welcoming students to Mini Medical School, a iuedic.il lec ture series for adults, covering the major body systems with a focus on medical diagnostic skills Throughout the series, eleven Iauquier Hospital physicians will explain how physicians diagnose and determine the extent of disease and the effect of treatments They will also explain what their patients, sick or well, can do to collect and provide information to help this process along. Topics include the gastrointestinal, urinary, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular and cars, nose and throat systems. Participants will also hear discussions on specialized imaging tools, routine tests, medical history and differential diagnosis and medical etliics. In the final session, the class will be presented with a simple problem tliat a patient might present which will give students a chance to see if Mini Medical School has enhanced their medical detective skills.
