Bill Oliver, the General Manager of Eldon Farms is retiring after 26 years of service. He was honored at a retirement party held on September 29th.

Raised on a farm in southeast Virginia, Mr. Oliver has always had an interest in crops and livestock. After completing high school, Mr. Oliver earned a degree in Animal Science from Virginia Tech. He then served in the U.S. Air Force, before returning to Virginia Tech to earn a Masters degree in Animal Nutrition. Upon obtaining his degree, Mr. Oliver returned to Gloucester County, VA to manage his family’s dairy farm. He then went on to manage a 600 cow dairy in Culpeper County.
