“I have a great job,” said Chris Johns, a Rappahannock resident who recently became editor of “National Geographic" magazine. Johns will be speaking at the Rappahannock library on Friday, October 14 as part of RAAC’s monthly series. After 17 years as a photo journalist, Johns is now responsible for the entire editorial content of a magazine that has a circulation of 44 million and is published in 28 languages. He finds this kind of influence very exciting and has plans to expand its reach.
“National Geographic is going through some changes,” he said.
