and talked to Pellegatta during those days, he’d tell you about his woes, in graphic detail but the twinkle never left his eye. Ever sardonic and joking, even about the most grim of matters, Pellegatta seemed almost untouched by these trials. Now, having won these battles, at an age when many are thinking about retiring, Pellegatta is just hitting his stride. Those who know him might conjecture that’s because he’s been retired for a decade, and active leisure suits him well. But speculation aside, these aregood days for Pellegatta the artist.
After a six-year hiatus, he had a calendar for 2005, and the 2006, is in the press now, and will be available in many shops around town in the next few weeks. Soon his work will be available througn his web site, currently under construction: www.pellegatta.com.
