Elementary School to host Community Book Fair, October 17-21, 2005
Rappahannock County Elementary School will host a Scholastic Book Fair on October 17-21, 2005, to help raise funds for new books and multimedia resources.
The Fair will feature specially priced books and educational products, including newly released works, awardwinning titles, children’s classics, interactive software and current bestsellers from more than 150 publishers.
The theme of this year’s Book Fair is The Kingdom of Reading. The Fair will be open each day from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Parents, children, teachers and the community are invited. On Thursday, October, 20, 2005 from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., the Book Fair will feature a special Family Event with extended hours to allow families to visit the fair together.
Fair attendees can help build classroom libraries by purchasing books for teachers through the Classroom Wish List program.
Book Fair proceeds also will be used to purchase essential classroom resources and support school projects at RCES.
