Life and business had its ups and downs. Pellegatta recalled, “the wine business ended when the Moroccans supplying the wine figured out they didn’t need a middleman and could deal directly with Disney. So I went to work at Four and Twenty Blackbirds, in the kitchen and later on the Bleu Rock.”
But his return to the restaurant life wasn’t permanent. Pellegatta has made his hying solely from photography since 1995. Pellegatta sold his photographs in area galleries, had them hung on the wall at Mountainside Market and the early Blue Moon Cafe, even sold them out of the trunk of his car.
