The Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company continues their Ham and Turkey Dinner tradition on Saturday, November 12 starting serving at 5 p.m. Come and enjoy delicious ham and turkey and great side dishes and desserts. Admission is $12 for adults, $6 for youngsters between six and twelve years of age and under five for free.
What a deal mom’s: No fixing dinner. Load everyone up in the car and head to the fire house. Remember you are supporting a good cause.

The Child Care and Learning Center will be having their tenth annual Fall Auction and party on Saturday, November 12 at 5:30 p.m. at the Washington School on Mt. Salem Avenue, Washington. The cost is $25 per person. This includes sumptuous food, fun and libations. Many of the items are donated by local residents, antique dealers decorators and artisans. Go and join
