With the race over, Blubaugh plans to . go back to his Rappahannock business and has no plans to seek public office again. “I have no interest in being a career politician,” he said. However, before he hangs up his campaign spurs, Blubaugh does plan one more campaign.
“I’m going to take time to sit down with Tbdd Gilbert and have a beer and brief him on the interests of this (Rappahannock) group of his constituents. We agreed during the election that we were going to do that no matter who won,” said Blubaugh.
