Position will administer the Procurement Division's mainframe and web-based systems, assist with procurement compliance, and provide technical! and procurement training and advice. Typical duties include: developing and accurately programming all user security and system tables; performing database reporting for regular reporting and adhoc requests; developing, promoting, and teaching technical and procurement classes; maintaining accurate training records; providing internal and external customer service; and assisting with systems software development and maintenance, including planning and implementing new system features. The position requires an in depth understanding of the FAMIS Accounting and Purchasing systems; the ability to analyze and test complex software problems, the ability to manage projects; the ability to apply policies and procedures to others' work and identify non-compliant transactions; the ability to work independently and participate as a team member with IT Staffand software vendors. General knowledge of procurement law, policies, and procedures is required. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business or related field with experience in . a procurement operation with extensive experience managing mainframe and web-based systems to include performing software analysis, development, and implementation. Successful candidate must have experience in writing procedures and technical training manuals, performing technical training, and project management. Subject to credit and background check.
