Rappahannock County School Superintendent Dr. Robert Chappell briefed the Board of Supervisors at the outset of Monday's BOS meeting. Most pressing was the issue of leaks in the elementary school roof. There are three leaking areas, constructed at different times, with different warranty situations. Chappell is negotiating with the several contracting firms and the school’s current architects about responsibility and terms for making the repairs. No action was needed at this time from the Board of Supervisors.

In other business.

The BOS appointed Dorothy Butler to fill the seat on the Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board when Kay Kohler’s term expires.
