AmissviUe died November 14 at the Fauquier Hospital.
She was bom April 7, 1945 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, a daughter of the late Burton Schlie and Ann Kelker Schlie.
Mrs. Sauter had been a local resident since 1983. She retired in 1999 as an Executive Secretary at the George Mason University Nurse Practioner Program. She retired to devote her time to her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas C. Sauter; two daughters, Amanda “Mandy” Brooks, of Bristow, VA and Becky Coppage of Remington, VA
Additional survivors include seven grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, November 18 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Warrenton. Interm mt will be at Midland Cemetery.
