Department of Community Corrections is seeking qualified applicants for a Pretrial/ Probation Officer position. Duties include superv ising criminal defendants and offenders placed in the program by the Courts, submitting reports and testifying in Court as required. Also includes establishing and monitoring community service work for program participants. Position responsible for administering drug tests and assures that all special conditions of the Court are lultilled. The successful candidate must be able to interview and supervise offenders, some ot which have a history of violent behavior and significant substance abuseissues. Experience working on individual and/or team projects, and functional or operational administrative experience within the criminal justice system is desired Position requires education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice.
