Part-Time Duties: Under direct authority of the Creative Services Manager to design and produce creative ads, see that production deadlines are timely met and posi’ vely assure that excellence of creative advertising quality is maintained in each ad produced. Qualifications: Professional experience in advertising design, PC/Mac experience required. Demonstrated proficiency in Mac knowledge. Knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in use of QuarkXPress, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Good design skills, excellent typing skills, strong attention to detail.

Level 1 Paginator

Full-Time - Loudoun Office Duties: To recreate newspaper pages from dummies provided by editors in the QuarkXPress program, to see that all the production deadlines are timely met and that the highest quality is maintained in all pages produced.Qualifications: Strong pagination skills, proficiency in PC/MAC knowledge and use of QuarkXPress and Acrobat.

Fairfax Circulation Distribution Manager

Full-Time Duties: Hands-on distribution of papers from Gannett dock to TCN trucks & carriers, inter-office distribution of newspapers, collecting money from coin boxes in Fairfax and service checks on single copy locations & boxes, maintaining Fairfax Archives and assisting Circulation Mgr. as needed. Qualifications: Basic computer skills, good driving record, excellent organizational skills and communicate well on phone & in-person.
