Elder Care Committee
The Rappahannock Elder Care Committee is pleased to announce the first topic in our series concerning aging together in our community.
Michael Soule of RRCSB and the Senior Advocate for the county will discuss the new Medicare Part D, Medicare’s new prescription drug coverage.

Lord Fairfax Community College Luray-Page County Center is hosting their on-site registration at Page County High School on November 30 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. for Spring 2006 classes. Placement Assessment Testing is being offered from 4 to 6 p.m.. Spring classes begin January 9, 2006 at the new Luray-Page County Center at 320 N. Hawksbill Street, Luray, VA. To Host 4th Annual “Art
from the Heart” Event
On Friday, December 2nd, Wakefield Country Day School will host its fourth annual “Art from the Heart” Art Show and Auction. This year’s event, to be held in the Leonard M. Cowherd Auditorium at the school, will showcase original works by 23 local artists and will feature oils, watercolors, mixed media, photography, jewelry, ceramics, and pottery. Reservations for the cocktail buffet, which begins at 6:30 p.m. are $50 per person. Proceeds from “Art from the Heart” 2005 will help support and enhance the school’s fine arts programs, and provide scholarships to deserving students.
