Responsible for implementation of policy and procedures in accordance with Federal/State and Local regulations for Housing Choice Voucher Rental Assistance (Section 8 Program). Responsible for providing housing counseling, referrals and resolving landlord/tenant/provider issues. Requires the ability to pay close
attention to the detail of federal regulation in a fast paced environment with large caseload. Requires education and experience equivalent to Bachelor degree in relf ed field and two years related experience. Preferred qualifications are: two years experience working in housing assistance or similar public assistance programs; Housing Counseling Certification; and Spanish language skills to include reading, writing, speaking and translation preferred.
