He was the recipient of the “Pilgrim Degree of Merit” which is the highest degree that can bestowed on a member and served many years on the Lodge and Moose Legion Ritual Teams. He served as Bingo chairman. He was retired from Avtex Fibers and was active with the Avtex retirees. He was a member of the Flint Hill United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by a brother Elwood “Leedy” Pullen.
Mr. Pullen is survived by a dear friend, Nellie Grove of Front Royal; a daughter, Barbara Kay Willard and her husband Douglas; a son Emmanuel J. “E.J.” Pullen, Jr. and his wife Beverly; three grandsons, two granddaughters, and a great-grandson, and several nieces and nephews
Pallbearers will be Charles Brady, Mark Brady, Jay Pullen, Rodney Omdorff, John Willard, and Clayton Willard.
