RCHS Cheerleaders
2nd in the State
Competition
On Saturday, November 20th, the RCHS Panther Cheerleaders took second place in the Virginia State Cheer Competition in Richmond’s Siegel Center, coming in only four points below the first place team, King William High School.
“After the first stunt, I knew nothing could stop them,” recalled Coach Bonnie Pullin.
The squad performed twice in the tournament, once to be within the top five qualifying teams, and a second time to determine the final champion.
Although this is the third year in a row that the Panthers have been to the State Tbumament, this is the first time they have placed so high.
