Day School Book Fair
The Old Sperryville Bookshop will be conducting a book fair at WCDS Tuesday, December 6th through Friday, December 9th each day from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30. p.m. The sale, which is a fundraiser for the school, will include books recommended by WCDS teachers, new releases, and gift books for preschool through 12th grade readers. A Christmas Carol
at Ki Theatre
Ki Theatre has been presenting a Christmas play for most of the last 14 years at our theatre on Gay Street in Washington, Virginia. This year we will be presenting “A Christmas Carol". The play, based on Charles Dickens’ story, has actors from the community ranging in age from 4 io 86. And, in addition to the drama of Mr. Scrooge’s ghosts, there will be live music in keeping with the spirit of Christmas. The performance on Saturday, December 10 will be at 8 p.m. and on Sunday, December 11 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults (above 12) and $5 for children.
