Rappahannock County’s scenic beauty, rural character, and priceless natural resources. These include:
• Encouraging donations of conservation easement to protect open spaces;
• Protecting the Hazel River for its beauty and importance to the region’s threatened watershed;
• Encouraging the use of alternative energy sources;
• Helping preserve biodiversity in the county.
