Holiday Greenery
Garden Club taking orders
for Christmas Greens
The Rappahannock County Garden Club is taking orders for its 2005 Christmas Greens. This year the club is offering two styles of decorated wreaths, Colonial Christmas and Rappahannock Holidays for $75, plain boxwood wreaths for $25, mixed green wreaths for $20, decorated swags at $25, table centerpieces at $30 and garland at $4 per foot. All products are hand made by Garden Club members and feature the freshest local greens and natural decorations.
The sale of the holiday greens is the major fund raiser for the Garden Club and the funds raised go toward scholarships for local high school students, Nature Camp sponsorship and community beautification projects. The Greens Workshop has been an ongoing effort for over 27 years.

Hearthstone School will again be selling beautiful, fresh-cut Norway Spruce Christmas trees generously donated by Mr. And Mrs. O’Meara of Moose Hill Farm in Rappahannock County from Monday, November 28 until December 24. All sizes are available and all trees will be selling for $35.00 each. They may be purchased in the front of the parking lot at Hearthstone School, which is located on US 211, two miles west of Sperryville. All proceeds will benefit Hearthstone School. Attention to Nia students: due to a recent ankle injury, this month’s Nia classes will be focusing on movement basics. If you’ve wanted to try Nia, but were concerned it may move too quickly for you this is a great time to come in, slow down, and get a good understanding of Nia's foundation-52 moves derived from dance, martial arts, and healing art forms. Also some classes will be introducing newly certified Nia instructor, Linda Heimstra.
