Santa Claus will be riding in the parade but after that he plans to be at Sunnyside Square to meet with children.
The Waggin’ Heart Therapy Dogs will be bedecked in Christmas finery and children can pose for a picture with them as well.
Many of Washington's businesses will be having Open Houses that afternoon where the public is invited in for some afternoon treats and a chance to shop, meet local business owners and soak up holiday cheer.
