Delyndria, her husband and three children are also living on the cruise ship. They are trying to make plans for housing that will be more permanent and have also applied for the Rural Development Housing Program. Delyndria expressed concern for the safety of her children on board the ship and cannot leave them alone at all.
I talked with all three of these mothers and they want you to know how very grateful they are for your generosity.
I want you all to know that your kindness is deeply appreciated by these families. They will need many years to recover from their total losses, but, to have been remembered and noticed by complete strangers, has done a great deal for their morale. Michele calls me just to chat and has sent a thank you card.

Michelle Williams
I talked with Michele Williams, the 24-yearold single parent. She was very happy because they hooked up her trailer and she was using the first community check to get sheets and towels. She hoped to move in the night before Thanksgiving.
She wanted the community here in Rappahannock to know how meaningful it has been to her for the donations received.
