ourselves more and more each year over what we are going to buy someone for Christmas. Will it fit, will it be the right color, will it be from the right store, will it have cost enough to be good enough? It’s that last one, folks, that bothers me the most. I mean it is a gift after all and some of the gifts that meant j the most to me cost very little or even nothing at all. It shouldn’t matter how much is spent or whether it came from a “major” department store or not. What should matter is that someone loved you or cared enough about you to spend their time and money to buy you that gift in the first place. With this in mind I leave you with these words of wisdom. They were passed on to me from a much older and more experienced man one day a few years back when I was fretting over these same questions while trying to shop. He said “son, don’t worry yourself so much over all of that nonsense. You’ll make yourself sick. After all, it doesn’t matter what you buy her: she won’t like it anyway!” Sorry, sometimes I just can’t help my self.
