December 3 and 4:
Hearthstone Holiday Bazaar
Hearthstone School will hold it’s annual Holiday Bazaar on December 3rd and 4th from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm in the School’s Community Room. Mike and Diane Six, Hearthstone parents, will be bringing alpacas for a visit on Saturday from their farm, Morning Moon Alpacas. Gwen Hayes and Clyde Humphrey, of West Wind Farm in Rappahannock County, will be bringing some of their llamas for a visit on Sunday. St. Nicholas is also planning a visit to have his picture taken with local children. Many wonderful gift items will be for sale, including art, pottery, beeswax candles, dolls, Hobday ornaments, jewelry, photography, handmade baskets, Hearthsong toys, books, ornaments, hand-dyed yams, fresh green wreaths, and much more. Hearthstone is very interested in having local artists and craftsmen participate in the Hobday Bazaar as vendors. Any interested artisans may cab the School office at (540) 987-9212 for details. Hearthstone School is located on Route 211, two miles west of Sperryville, Virginia.
December 4: Christmas
in Little Washington
The Washington Hospitahty and "Visitors Association is sponsoring “Christmas in Little Washington” from 12:30 to 4 p. m. The hobday cheer begins with a Hobday Parade at 12:30 on Main Street in Washington. Santa Claus will be on hand at Sunnyside Square and many of the town’s businesses Eire planning open houses. Stop in at the Washington Baptist Church for Brunswick Stew or Christmas Chib and decorate a Gingerbread man or two. The Rappahannock County High School band will be performing and marching in the parade.
