Helping Jenkins with the Panthers is Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach Jared Nieters, who coached the RCHS volleyball team to a 16-5 overall record this fall. Fittingly, one c ' the Basketball Senior Team Captains, Samantha Brown, was the MVP of Nieter’s volleyball team. The other team captaih is Courtney Hutcheson, Coach’s Award winner from the regional champion RCHS cheerleading squad.
The Panthers will need players experienced at winning to improve on last year’s dismal record. They have a tough schedule, including state semifinalist Page County and a tough George Mason team. Regardless, Jenkins doesn’t plan on letting up.
