The RCHS Panthers Varsity girl’s basketball team has a new head coach and new motto.
“Let up, you lose,” said the new coach, Rhonda Jenkins. “That’s not just in the game, that’s everything It means not letting up on yourselves.” While this is Jenkin’s first year as head coach of the varsity basketball team, she’s coached softball, JV basketball, and soccer in her twelve years at RCHS. She also teaches P.E. at Rappahannock Elementary. In fact, the busy Coach Jenkins only took a year off when she was forced to by a bout with cancer.
“Now, I’m better. I’m feeling all well now,” said Jenkins.
