The Hearthstone Annual Holiday Bazaar will be held this coming weekend, December 3 and 4. Due to popular demand, for the first time the bazaar will be held on both Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm.
Highlights of the bazaar include a visit from St. Nicholas on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. He will be available in the main entry of the school, along with his friendly alpacas (courtesy of Mike and Diane Six of Morning Moon Farm in Remington), for photographs with local children.
Mike and Diane Six’s alpacas will be in the School parking lot from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3. On Sunday, December 4, Gwen Hayes and Clyde Humphries of West Wind Farm in Castleton will be at the bazaar with their llamas from 10:00 am until 11:30 am, and again from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm. The alpacas and llamas are very tame and friendly (and soft!) and are available for petting and photos. , This year’s bazaar will be the best yet, with the largest number of vendors we’ve had so far. There will be a wonderfid assortment of items for sale from local artists and craftsmen just in time for Christmas. Rappahannock artisans include Caroline Beahm, who will be selling fresh greenery, swags and centerpieces. Janet Kerig will be selling her beautiful wheat straw art. Ted fellagatta will be selling his scenic Rappahannock County calendars and will be available On Saturday to autograph
