Art Show, Woodworking Display, Book Fair at RCHS, Dec. 9, from 5:30-8:30 PM: The RCHS Art department will show the work of many of its students. Some items on display also will be available for purchase. Students from the RCHS Woodworking class will have sample Adirondack-style chairs, tables and footrests on display. Community residents may place orders for these items.
The RCHS library media center will host a Scholastic Book Fair during the Art Show. Popular young adult and adult titles, along with posters and software will be available. All book fair proceeds go toward the purchase of new materials and books for student and staff use.
Local artist Ted Pellegatta will he signing his 2006 Rappahannock County calendars, which will be on sale for $18 apiece, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Sales will net $5 from each calendar to benefit the RCHS Art Club.
Public Hearing on the proposed RCPS Comprehensive Plan: The hearing will be part of the regularly scheduled School Board Meeting to be held Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. in the Rappahannock County High School Band Room.
