She was born on January 19.1927 in Rappahannock County to Mattie and Ned Dulm. Her loving grandparents, Ginny and Pep Pullen, raised Ethel in the Flint Hill area. Ethel mamed Sherman in Apnl 1953 and lived with her husband, during their 48 years of marriage, in his family home place in Chester Gap. Where they raised their four children, became wonderful grandparents to all their grandchildren, and just loved being together on the mountain. Ethel, during her early life worked in various seasonal jobs and together, she and Sherman, opened and operated for many years. Williams Grocery. They were both active members in the little mountain top community. But. her later life pleasures were being a loving wife, and a wonderful mother, and very special grandmother. Her most special moments were evolved around her family visits, outings, and just being with everyone. Her children were definitely a great pleasure to her. but the grandkids were surely the light of her life. Mrs. Williams is survived by one son. Glenn A. Williams and wife. Kelly of Front Royal: two daughters, Dianne Ricker and husband. Kevin of Chester Gap, Cindy Derflinger and husband Amos of Front Royal: one sister. Lonia Atkins of Flint Hill and s,x grandchildren. Jacki Thomas and husband, James. Ashley Williams. Justin Derflinger. Kimberly Williams, Josh Williams, and Kaylee Williams and one great grandson. Aden Thomas. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by one son. -Ricky Williams: a granddaughter. Jenny Williams: two sisters. Maggie Mahoney. Julia Pullen, and one brother Horace Dulin . Pallbearers will be Jeff Williams. Ronnie Moms. Aaron Morns. David Schuster. Joe Wiliams. Larry Williams and Brad Wiliams. Honorary pallbearers will be Rachel Stuehmeyer. Bonnie Williams.
