While photographing on Skyline Drive two. weeks ago with Barbara and her mother, Boc started talking to a woman who was also taking pictures. Their chance conversation revealed that the woman lived in D.C. but that she also had grown up in Rome, New York, just five houses down the street from the Adolfi’s family market. Boc said of this experience, “I love that I can talk to anyone here and connect in ways I can never anticipate. This is the way I approach my photography, never quite certain what my image will be, but always seeing something new that enlightens me and moving me to share with others.”
