of Gettysburg” will give area horse lovers and historians alike an inside look at the documentary, a chance to learn about producing films today and little-known details about working with live animals in films.
At 10 a.m., selected clips of the film will be shown at the Tally Ho Theatre, with commentary from Maxwell and Bussler before and after the mini-screening. Afterwards, they will be available to sign copies of the DVD at the Leesburg Bookstore, and later, at 2 p.m. at the All The King’s Horses art gallery, two outfitted cavalry re-enactors will be on hand to demonstrate some of the cavalry horse’s unique characteristics.
