Summer is here and it’s time for the Rappahannock County Library’s Summer Reading Program.
Registration began June 7, and the last day to register is Wednesday, August 2. Readers will be able to earn patches and medals, and there are lots of special activities planned.
Mark your calendar for the these special events in June:
Wednesday evening, June 21: “The Llama Pajama Party” starts at 6:45 p.m. at the library. Yes, there will be Llamas! From 7:15- 8:00 its “Once Upon a Summer Solstice.” Come dressed as your favorite character from a fairy tale, folk legend, or modem tale hero.
Thursday morning, June 22: The 4th annual “Teddy Bear Picnic” will be held at the Rappahannock County Park from 10 a.m. - noon. There will be a story time with the Berenstein Bears,
