County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on applications filed on behalf of Cingular Wireless to modify three existing cellular antennae in the county. As currently drafted, the applications would involve the addition of fifteen feet of height to two “stealth monopole antennae” located near Amissville and Flint Hill, and several external additions to a cellular antennae camouflaged to look like a grain silo on US 211 near Massie’s Corner.
The modifications are intended to allow increased Cingular cellular coverage in the county, and may also increase coverage for other cellular networks.
