The Rappahannock County Sheriff’s Office believes they have apprehended the perpetrators of a string of daylight burglaries in Rappahannock County.
Michael Lee Guy, 26, from Remington, turned himself in to the RCSO on June 26. His alleged accomplice, who is a 21-year-old female from Culpeper., turned herself in on June 25. The female accomplice has not yet been charged, but will be shortly, according to the RCSO.
According to Lt. Connie Smith, investigator for the RCSO, the two have been linked to several burglaries that occurred in recent months in the county, and may be responsible for similar robberies in Fluvanna, Madison, and Albemarle counties. as well. Investigators and Commonwealth’s Attorneys from these counties are still determining what total charges will be made against Guy and his accomplice, but in Rappahannock Guy has already been charged with three counts of Breaking and Entering, one count of Grand Larceny, and one of Petty Larceny.
