Loudoun County is seeking a Housing Financing Specialist to develop affordable housing projects. Successful candidate will work with local officials to develop and manage Federal, State, local and private funding strategies; negotiate real estate transactions; identify potential sites; market projections; and create and manage project budgets. Position will serve as project manager. Requires strong financial, analytical and communication skills. Must possess knowledge of regulatory processes and ordinances; tax credit, mortgage and grant financing; real estate purchase; development of affordable housing and mixed use projects; and marketing techniques. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in housing, real estate financing, marketing, business or public administration, planning or a related field with three years related experience.
