Our little town of Boston, with a general store and a post office which covers several areas, will certainly remain on the map as sub-divisions begin to engulf the area, one being prepared for ten houses on the Dairy Bam property, formerly owned by the late Edmond Burke.
We extend great sympathy for Mrs. Donna Grant and family of “Boston Drive” in the loss of her father, Mr. Ed Bailey who passed away last week. Also condolences go out to Mr. Buster Hitt and family in, neighboring Woodville, Mrs. Emma Kelly which occurred Sunday at Fauquier Hospital, and to the family of Mrs. Mildred Berry, who passed away and was laid to rest in Cedar Hill Cemetery Monday.
Quite a number of young people from our area and adult workers are attending youth camp this week at Mount Olivet.
It was great to see Mr. Herbert Hash walking out of Dr. Brear’s office, after his regular visit on Tuesday. Mr. Hash, a former Boston resident and principle of Salem School, now resides at Virginia Baptist Community.
