Wljen Rappahannock County Democrats arrived at the County Park in Washington for their traditional July 4th picnic, they found that their sign welcoming one and all to the event had been vandalized. Said one picnic goer: “I doubt that even President Bush himself could be anything but embarrassed by this.” Despite the downer, the grilling continued with hamburgers, hot dogs and watermelon for all plus plenty of fun and games.
