All I can figure is we must have missed having a late killing frost this year. There is a big cherry tree out behind the house, and it has more cherries on it than I have ever seen on one tree.
You can, literally, reach up and pick ten or twelve in one grasp. There are so many the birds can’t eat them all. I think they have gotten tired of them. We have made pies and cobblers and jam and have been giving them away, and the tree is still black with cherries.
And one little peach tree is so full of peaches it is breaking the limbs off from the weight. I sure wish I had a money tree out there in the back yard that was producing like that.
