On Dec; 18, 2005 Sheryl Ann “Sherri” Warner was viciously murdered in her Reva home. Exactly one year later, family members received a bit of closure when convicted killer Ricky Javon Gray, 29, was indicted by a Culpeper grand jury on first degree murder charges.
Gray will appear in Culpeper County Circuit Court for arraignment on January 3, 2007 at 11:00a.m. He is currently being held in a Sussex state prison.
At a press conference Sheriff Lee Hart announced the indictment to reporters and television camera crews from the Charlottesville and Richmond areas.
He handled numerous questions, including what piece of evidence linked Gray to the case. He refused to discuss the investigation details.
