The Rappahannock News and the Rappahannock County Public Schools Athletic Department are proud to announce Alex Ramey as our Athlete of the Month for November.
Ramey, son of Mark and Karen Ramey of Sperryville, tfa., exhibited excellent athletic ability in the Boy’s Cross Country Team. In November, Ramey was one of two runners Tom Rappahannock who competed in the State Championship. This was Ramey’s second time competing at State level for the Panthers, and finished 33rd. ‘When the competition shows ap, Alex has a fire that bums ill the brighter,” said Head Cross Country Coach Dave Cillis. Ramey also won the Most Valued Player (MVP) iward for the team. Gillis aoted that Ramey had the ability to push himself while competing, running each mile aster than the previous one. ‘It’s like a slow white bum ihat becomes more and more ntense,” he said.
