Without bridge access, residents will have to enter the neighborhood on Rediviva Lane directly from U.S. 211, rather than from Gid Brown Hollow Road. Sullivan expressed concern about the safety of the sharp turn from U.S. 211 onto narrow Rediviva Lane.
VDOT has plans to resurface Rediviva Lane and change its classification from a primary road to a secondary road. Cubbage said the change in classification means a sign with Rediviva Lane’s route number will be placed near its intersection with U.S. 211, making it easier for visitors to see the turn.
