The Piedmont Dispute Resolution Center (PDRC), a Piedmont United Way Agency, is recruiting volunteers to work with crime victims and offenders in its restorative justice programs in Culpeper, Fauquier, Orange and Rappahannock counties.
The Restorative Justice program works with the courts, schools, law enforcement, businesses and neighborhoods. The program brings together victims of crime and the offenders, along with their families, to discuss the crime, help the offender take responsibility and understand who has been affected, and decide together how to best repair the harm. This program addresses the issues of crime victims and gives voice to their concerns.
