•All Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DVM) customer service centers will dose for the Christmas holiday beginning Saturday, Dec. 23. The offices will remain closed on Monday, Dec. 25 and Tuesday, Dec. 26. All customer service centers will reopen for regular operating hours on Wednesday, Dec. 27. • The Rappahannock County Public Schools (all locations) will dose Thursday, Dec. 21 and will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 2. • All Rappahannock County government offices will be dosed Friday, Dec. 22 at noon and will reopen on Wednesday, Dec. 27. • The Rappahannock National Bank will be closed on Monday, Dec. 25 and will reopen on Tuesday, Dec. 26, • BB&T in Flint Hill will be dosed on Monday, Dec. 25 and will reopen on Tuesday, Dec. 26. • The Rappahannock News will be closed on Dec. 25 in observance of the Christmas holiday. It will reopen on Tuesday, Dec. 26. There will be an early deadline for the Thursday, Dec. 28 edition. All items for publication should be submitted no later than Friday, Dec. 22 at 5 p. m. • The Dec. 25 meeting of the Town of Washington Planning Commission has been canceled.
