Tbm Gordon is a computer guru with a passion for telecommuting, a passion that stems from a nightmarish commute to Tysons Comer in 2004.
On that fateful day, Gordon left his Tbwn of Washington home at about 5:30 a.m., factoring in what he thought would be ample time to arrive at an 8 a.m. meeting 60 miles away in the busy hub of Fairfax County.
He never made it to the meeting.
Gordon got bogged down in Northern Virginia traffic and arrived at 8:45 a.m., just in time to run into colleagues as they were leaving the building.
