In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Harold Smoot, Taylor Smoot, Raymond Smoot, and Harvey Smoot, Jr., and one granddaughter.
The family received friends on Wednesday, May 2, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 3, at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Joel Cress officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Pugh, Jeff See, Richard Dennis, Darryl Smoot, and Chuck Riley. Honorary pallbearers will be Simon Lewis and Leonard Parmley.
