McCarthy said he and Luke visited the B&S site on April 23 to meet with Brown, who pointed out that he has moved almost nil his business equipment off the property.

Ron Frazier, who represents the Jackson District on the Board of Supervisors, said several of his constituents have contacted him to complain about the site. But he also acknowledged that Brown is making attempts to move his bumness to a more appropriate location.

“I know they are actively trying to find a property to move to,” Frazier said.

Brown did not return calls seeking comments for this story.
