Sallie Morgan, senior manager of the RRCSB, outlined the big picture of demographic shifts in our area’s population and noted that “What is happening in the rest of the country and world is happening here, but at a faster rate.” She noted the projected demographic shift to more elderly and stated that the question that needs to be addressed is, “How can we work together to make our communities more supportive places for elders and their families and people of all ages so all can live well as the population ages?”
