I would urge local residents who may also be concerned to register your discontent with VDOT and the Sheriff’s Dept.
For now I will happily pay the additional taxes, in the hope it might help fund a Police Dept that will clamp down on this thoughtless and selfish practice.
In the meantime “we have got your message,” now if you care about Rappahannock, remove your trash!
