Although the shop is filled with everything Celtic, Earl Lockland said that a good percentage of their profits comes from their Internet and mail order business. The Lockland’s have leased their store space, which will be up for renewal on August 15. Earl said that they were still uncertain whether or not they would renew their lease agreeing that fewer customers seem willing to visit the shop. “It’s changed a bit,” he said. “People are not stopping by as much.”
In spite of the uncertainty, the Lockland’s are delighted with Flint Hill and do not plan to move. “The area has been good to us,” Lockland said. “We have met some wonderful people.”

Next door in the same building, Rappahannock’s only dentist, Dr. Stella M. Liong has recently moved out of her leased business location.
Liong said that she has found a location in the Flint Hill area and is currently applying for a special use
