the singing of “The StarSpangled Banner” as Forrest Whorton rode his silhouetted horse on the horizon while displaying the American Flag. This, capped the evening off, leaving a sense of pride and patriotism for all who attended.
Lastly, I would like to thank the Fourth of July Committee and the Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department members who donated countless hours of their time to bring back the July 4 event to Rappahannock County; Please thank them when you see them. I look forward to seeing everyone next year!
